Ireland is full of many beautiful places. Some are in the midlands, others are on the east coast while many are on the west coast and the celebrated Wild Atlantic Way. One of these is the town of Westport in Co. Mayo. Thankfully for those of us travelling with our beloved companion, one of the town's nicest hotels is pet-friendly.
The beautiful Wyatt Hotel in Westport offers dog-friendly rooms in an isolated area of their lovely property. Their dog-friendly rooms offer comfortable accommodation with either a double bed or a double and a single bed to accommodate up to 3 people as well as your best mate! Extra pillows and blankets are available in all rooms to increase your comforts.

The rooms come complete with a dog bed and have direct courtyard access which is located on the lower ground floor so your pet can easily get outside. Note that dogs aren’t allowed in the public areas of the hotel and cannot use the main entrance. Dogs should only use the remote room access available.
Something else the hotel has access to is Westport which is the gateway to many wonderful places. Croagh Patrick, Achill Island and Clew Bay are all nearby, while the town itself makes for the perfect place to bring your pooch for a stroll.
Tea/coffee making facilities are offered as standard as well as direct-dial telephone, remote control TV, trouser press, fans, hairdryer & Wi-Fi. Cots can be added to our Dog-Friendly Room to accommodate a baby or toddler up to 3 years of age with no additional charge. Add a cot to your room at the enhancement stage of the booking process.
