The resort is just that - a resort. Here you'll find outstanding golf courses dating back to the late 19th century, the excellent Vardon restaurant (named after golfer Harry Vardon, who helped design the original golf course) and the lively Pavilion Bar and Restaurant. Leisure facilities included a 15-metre indoor heated pool, sauna, steam room and there are a variety of bedroom sizes from 300 square feet classic rooms to the luxurious 450 square feet Bayview suites.
Pets stay free and no pet deposit is required. Cats and dogs up to 20kg are welcome in guest rooms. Housekeeping services for rooms with pets require the pet owner to be present (if not the pet must be kept in a crate).
Will you make it out for nine holes with your four-legged friend in tow? Maybe not. What you will do, though, is embark on a journey of the Donegal coastline, enjoying the scenery of the golf course while taking in the great outdoors simultaneously.
