Pretty good
"Stayed here earlier in the year, as a base for touring kilkenny. Its really centrally located, right onto the street, but has a decent car-park at rear. We were concerned re possible noise from the hotel bar and functions areas of which there are a number. However, we were accomodate in a separate building which had a number of suites in it. It was one of two buildings from which you had a short walk under a ccovered walkway to reach the rear entrance of the main hotel building. The accomodation was spacious and very comfortable, and quiet. We ate dinner off the bar menu - the food was good barfood quality and reasonably priced. The location was first class for meandering around Kilkenny's sites on foot. While not accepting pets in the main hotel buildingis understandable, its a little surprising that they cannot make accomodation available in a couple of the rooms in the outside buildings"
Fiendly and spacious
"We sayed at Castle Leslie recently. We did not bring a pet but noted that they have pet-friendly accomodation. The staff were very friendly and accomodating in every way, and we could see from the walks that we took through the Leslie estate that there would be plenty for pet owners there "
