Located just 10 minutes from Clifden town and two minutes from the small scenic village of Claddaghduff in Connemara, Co. Galway, Clifden ecoBeach Camping is a dog-friendly campsite set in 8 hectares in an Special Area of Conservation for Bottle-nosed Dolphins, on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way.
The camposite can facilitate Motorhome, Caravan or Tent.
Glamping and wild camping style plots with private eco-campfires are peaceful and privately spaced between marram grass covered sand dunes.
Set against a backdrop of 1km of coastline with excellent crystal clear bathing water quality Clifden ecoBeach Camping is the perfect base for all kinds of sea-borne activities, including safe swimming, angling, crabbing, scuba diving, kite surfing, boating and fantastic 'drift snorkeling' along the estuary of Streamstown Bay.
There are beautiful coastal beach walks within the park, with longer self guided walks to and around the picturesque tidal island of Omey.
The park is designed so that your plot never becomes wet under foot, and will remain dry and clean even in extreme wet weather conditions.
