Pet-friendly hotel:

Ellenborough Park has 13 designated dog-friendly rooms available in both The Mews and Ellenborough Gate.

Dogs are welcome throughout the hotel grounds and in set areas of the hotel. There are great walks in and around Ellenborough Park’s 90 acres as well as plenty of Cotswolds countryside to explore. Dogs are not allowed in the bar or the restaurants.

A housekeeping charge of £25 per day will be added to your bill.

The luxury 5-star Ellenborough Park, set in a magnificent 15th century 90-acre country estate, is located just a 10-minute drive from the world famous Cheltenham Racecourse, while the M5 motorway is just 8 km.

Nearby dog-friendly attractions

Batsford Arboretum and Garden Centre near Moreton in Marsh, home to the country's largest private collection of trees and shrubs, and open every day of the year except Christmas Day.

"Dogs are welcome in the arboretum as long as they are on a short lead at all times. They are also allowed in the main building and the cafe as long as they are well behaved.

Please clean up after your dog and place in any of the litter bins around the site."
