It is a registered charity with a remit that includes the operation of RSPCA centres, 4 animal hospitals and branches in England and Wales, in addition to 215 shops.

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home
Battersea Dogs & Cats Home works to reunite pets with their owners in addition to the work they undertake in the community to educate people about responsible ownership.
The home's aim is to never turn away a dog or cat in need, caring for them until their owners or loving new homes can be found, no matter how long it takes. Every year, the charity cares for over 8,000 dogs and cats.
In addition to the main home in Battersea they also have centres in Windsor, Berkshire and at Brands Hatch in Kent.

PDSA is the UK's leading veterinary charity.
The charity carries out more than one million free veterinary consultations a year, and is the largest private employer of fully qualified veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses in the UK.
Eligible pet owners living within the catchment area of a PDSA Pet Hospital, PDSA Pet Clinic or PDSA Pet Practice may register their pets at that facility.
Eligibility requirements
There are eligibility requirements (see below). For those eligible, treatment for sick and injured animals is free of charge.
To be eligible, you must be receiving one of the following:
- Housing Benefit (means-tested help with your rent)
- Council Tax Support / Reduction Scheme (means-tested help with your Council Tax liability)
- Universal Credit (Universal Credit with a housing element)

Guide Dogs provides mobility and freedom to blind and partially sighted people. The charity also campaign for the rights of people with visual impairment, educate the public about eye care and fund eye disease research.

Children with Autism to achieve improved mobility and independence.
