Free-Range Kennels
"Jane Ebrail runs these kennels and we have trusted successive dogs to her care for almost 15 years. The kennels are located in countryside between the Sally Gap and Roundwood. Jane allows dog-guests to run free in her huge yard and takes them through the fields for groups walks every day. We love it because our dog is only locked up at night, the rest of the time she is out running around and playing with whoever is there that week. It is perfect for lively and sociable dogs, although I know Jane will board dogs that need a quieter environment separately if asked. Our dog wants to be leader of the pack so this suits a hyperactive springer spaniel perfectly. "
Stylish Grooming
"Our dog always comes out with a stylish cut, not the crewcut that some groomers have inflicted on her in the past. And she usually sports a pretty pink dog bow to prove she has been to the salon! This is very popular joint so just need to book in advance. Not the cheapest cut but worth it."
Friendly Everything!
"The Wyatt is a lovely old hotel located right beside the Octagon. In recent years it has been modernised to a very comfortable standard."
Friendly local store
"Nature & Nurture are located at the small shopping centre on Glenageary roundabout (near Bombay Pantry). They stock a wide variety of dog foods, accessories and toys but are also happy to order anything you want. The staff are always really friendly, its a pleasure to shop there. "
